If it is not possible to purify an impure device with water for fear of damage, then the parts that can be purified must be cleansed. It is permissible to carry it during prayer out of necessity or urgent need, such as fear of damage or theft, by analogy with what jurists have stipulated in similar matters. However, if there is no necessity, it is not permissible to carry it during prayer, because the prayer of one who carries impurities without necessity is invalid according to the majority of jurists.
