Who are the "ضنائن" (cherished ones) of Allah whom He spares from tribulation in this world and admits to Paradise in well-being, and what is the wisdom behind that, and how can one become one of them?

The aforementioned Hadith is weak, and a Muslim should not tire themselves out searching for the hidden treasures mentioned within it. Rather, it is prescribed for them to seek refuge with Allah from affliction and to frequently ask for well-being, in accordance with the guidance of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who used to ask Allah for pardon and well-being in this world and the hereafter, in his religion, his worldly affairs, his family, and his wealth. He also sought refuge with Him from the hardship of affliction, the depths of misery, the evil of destiny, and the gloating of enemies. Affliction is not limited to adversity; the trial of prosperity can sometimes be more severe. The believer is tested in both situations, and they must fulfill their duty of servitude in both: by showing gratitude in prosperity and patience in adversity. Whoever does so will be rewarded and beloved by Allah. The servant is constantly oscillating between Allah's blessings, which require gratitude, and trials, which require patience. The servitude of the servant to Allah is realized in both prosperity and adversity, and in both what is beloved and what is disliked.
