Is it true that there are verses and surahs that were omitted from the Holy Qur’an? Did Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq withhold the Khums from the Family of the Prophet, and what was the reason? Did Umar ibn Al-Khattab prohibit some of what Allah made lawful?

The Qur'an is preserved from any कमी (deficiency) or إسقاط (omission), as Allah Almighty says: "Indeed, it is We who sent down the Dhikr (the Qur'an), and indeed, We will be its guardian." And Allah's promise is true. The Companions unanimously agreed that the Mushaf compiled during the era of the Rightly Guided Caliphs is complete.

The claim that Abu Bakr and Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) violated the Sharia is refuted for the following reasons: 1. The proven justice of both of them and their adherence to the Prophetic methodology. 2. The absence of any denial from the Companions regarding their actions in this matter. 3. The praise of Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) for the two Shaykhs. 4. The high esteem and preference shown by the two Shaykhs for the People of the House (Ahl al-Bayt).
