Is it permissible to reorganize the long rows of a funeral prayer into three rows, while leaving gaps, and is it permissible to raise hands when supplicating for the deceased at the grave collectively, facing the Qiblah, and when is supplication at the grave forbidden?

There is no harm in having a space to the right and left of the rows in the funeral prayer if it is to make the worshippers three rows, as this is recommended, according to the Hadith: "No Muslim dies and a community of Muslims prays over him, reaching three rows, but he is forgiven."

As for raising hands in supplication for the deceased at the grave and elsewhere, it is permissible and does not contradict the agreed-upon Hadith of Anas: "The Prophet (peace be upon him) did not raise his hands in any supplication except in prayers for rain (Istisqa')." This is due to the existence of other authentic Ahadith proving that the Prophet (peace be upon him) raised his hands in supplication in situations other than Istisqa'.

However, supplicating and saying "Ameen" collectively and facing the Qibla after burying the deceased is an innovation (Bid'ah), as it was not from the guidance of the Prophet (peace be upon him) nor from the guidance of his companions.

Supplication at the grave is only forbidden if the supplication is out of place, such as asking for something from the deceased or seeking help from him. As for supplicating for the deceased himself, it is not forbidden at any time.
