Does looking a lot at a person with a beautiful face cause them to be afflicted by the evil eye?

Admiration of a beautiful image may lead to affliction by the evil eye, as happened to Sahl ibn Hunayf. To protect oneself from the evil eye, one must fortify oneself with the remembrance of Allah, and prevent anything that might provoke the evil eye, such as beautiful women dispersing when entering, as Jacob (peace be upon him) did with his sons, fearing the evil eye due to their large number and beauty. Also, some aspects of beauty should be concealed, such as covering attractive features with something that repels the evil eye. An example of this is when Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) saw a handsome boy and said: "Darken his dimple," meaning to blacken the indentation in his chin.
