Is it permissible to make up the days I missed in Ramadan due to being unable to fast during the general secondary examinations, knowing that my family obliged me to break my fast?

It is not permissible to break the fast in Ramadan for exams, as the hardship involved is usually tolerable and does not constitute a legitimate excuse. However, if the student experiences extreme hardship with which she cannot continue fasting while performing her task, then she may break her fast. If one breaks the fast due to harm caused by fasting, such as an illness like anemia, then the days one missed must be made up.
