What is the meaning of God's essential attributes that are not related to His will, and is God capable of all things?

The power of Allah Almighty is not connected with impossibilities (muhal), because an impossibility is not a thing to begin with; otherwise, a contradiction would ensue. Examples of this include the question of whether Allah can create a peer for Himself or annihilate Himself—these are invalid questions. Similarly, Allah’s intrinsic attributes, such as life, power, and knowledge, are not related to will, because it is incorrect to say that Allah might not be characterized by them; this is false and impossible.
