Is divorce among the decrees of Allah?
If a mother treats her daughter in a strange manner, the daughter should supplicate for her righteousness and be patient with her. She must honor her and treat her kindly, even if she is wronged, for Ibn Abbas said: "If one of them angers the other, Allah will not be pleased with him until he is pleased with him." It was asked: "Even if they wrong him?" He said: "Even if they wrong him." If it is possible to serve the mother without harm, the daughter should do so. Her service may be obligatory if the mother is in need and there is no one else to serve her.
If the mother incites discord and causes estrangement, then there is no obedience to her in disobedience to Allah Almighty, such as cutting ties with an aunt. The daughter must maintain ties with her aunt without the mother's knowledge.
As for divorce, it is part of Allah's decrees, but it does not mean surrendering to fate. If the husband wishes to return after a definitive divorce (baynunah), there is no harm in returning to him if there is no preponderant interest that necessitates withholding consent. If the marriage was with the permission of the guardian and in the presence of witnesses, it is not considered a secret marriage, and publicizing it is recommended.
If the divorce is revocable, the wife is still considered a wife, and the husband has the right to take her back without a new contract. It is recommended to have witnesses to the return.
