What is the ruling on a husband preventing his wife from buying alcoholic perfumes with her own money, knowing that it is permissible for her to do so?

The matter is easy, Allah willing. An ordinary person imitates whoever he trusts among the people of knowledge. You are not obliged to give your wife money to buy something that you do not consider permissible. The jurists have mentioned that the husband is not obligated to pay for the permissible perfume for his wife, so it is even more fitting that he is not obligated to pay for something he believes to be forbidden.
