Is it permissible to use tawriyah (deliberate ambiguity) when swearing an oath to respect university laws and regulations that violate Islamic Sharia? And whose intention is considered: that of the one swearing the oath, or that of the one administering it?

It is permissible for you to use tawriya (equivocation/double entendre) when swearing to respect university laws, by intending those laws which do not contradict the Sharia. The tawriya that is forbidden in an oath is when the swearer is unjust. However, if he is not unjust, there is no harm in using tawriya and interpretation in the oath. It has been narrated from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, "Indeed, in ma'areedh (indirect speech/allusions) there is room to avoid lying."
