What is your guidance for one who cannot bear to live with his wife, yet still sleeps with her?

The questioner is advised to be patient and seek reward from Allah, and to live with his wife kindly as much as possible, handling matters calmly, especially if she is a woman of good character and religious commitment, based on the saying of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him: "The world is a provision, and the best provision of the world is a righteous woman," and his saying: "A believer should not hate a believing woman; if he dislikes one of her characteristics, he will be pleased with another." He is reminded of the noble verse: "And live with them in kindness. For if you dislike them - perhaps you dislike a thing and Allah makes therein much good." It is also pointed out that the Prophet was the best of people to his family and an excellent role model. He is further asked to treat her with kindness, live with her honorably, advise and guide her, and not resort to divorce unless all other avenues are exhausted.
