Is it permissible for a cousin (son of a maternal aunt) to agree with his sister's fiancé to pay him compensation in exchange for divorcing her, so that the cousin can marry her?

If the marriage has been solemnized, it is not permissible for the cousin (son of the maternal aunt) to ask the husband to divorce his wife so that he can marry her, due to the corrupting consequences involved, which include: divorce, which is the most detested of lawful acts; the emergence of animosity and hatred between the husband and this relative; the instillation of doubt, suspicion, and aversion towards the wife; and the husband experiencing grief and worry. Furthermore, this act resembles the forbidden act of incitement (takhbib), and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "He is not of us who incites a woman against her husband." He must, therefore, be content with Allah's decree and not covet what is in the possession of others.
