What are the differences in the teachings of the Qur’an from the teachings of the Torah, knowing that the point of agreement between Islam and Judaism is the worship of one God and the prohibition of idol worship, and that the fundamental difference between them is the holy book of each religion?

Judaism and Islam agree on the origin of religion as the monotheism of God and belief in prophets and the Last Day. However, the laws and rulings differ, as each nation has its own law. Prophets are like brothers from different mothers; their religion is one, but their mothers are many. Laws have changed throughout the ages. What was permissible for Adam, such as a brother marrying his sister, was forbidden to the Children of Israel. Some things that were forbidden to Jacob became permissible by law, and Christ alleviated some prohibitions. The law of the Qur’an came as the final, most complete, and lightest of laws. As for the Torah currently in existence, it has been distorted by additions, omissions, and changes in meaning. It contains what is unfitting for God, insults to prophets, and fallacies, unlike the Qur’an, which does not contradict modern science. Therefore, the difference between the Torah and the Qur’an is due to the difference in laws and the distortion of the Torah.
