What is the ruling on lengthening nails in a non-exaggerated way if the husband desires it?

Lengthening nails is contrary to the Sunnah because removing nails is among the virtues of Islam, which promotes cleanliness, purity, discipline, and refinement. Trimming them is recommended every week. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade leaving them for more than forty nights, even if the husband likes it. However, if the nails do not accumulate dirt that compromises the validity of prayer, and they do not exceed forty days, then there is no harm in leaving them.
