هل هناك حديث أو أثر عن الصحابة يدل على أن المعاصي تؤثر على المال والعيال؟

The texts of the Qur'an and Sunnah have indicated the ill-effects of sins and that they are a cause of calamities. Allah Almighty says: "And whatever strikes you of disaster - it is because of what your hands have earned, and He pardons much." (Ash-Shura: 30) He also says: "And We will surely let them taste the nearer punishment short of the greater punishment that perhaps they will return." (As-Sajdah: 21) And He says: "Allah destroys interest" (Al-Baqarah: 276). The Hadith states: "Indeed, a man is deprived of provision because of a sin he commits." Some of the Salaf (pious predecessors) mentioned that they would see the effect of their sin on their servant and their mount, and that Allah preserves a servant, through their righteousness, in their offspring after their death.
