Is it permissible to borrow from usurious banks to build an Islamic educational institution, given that Muslims are withdrawing their children from Islamic schools and sending them to Christian schools that have a high educational standard?

It is not permissible to take out an interest-based loan from any party to build an educational institution to compete with Christian institutions, as this is not considered one of the necessities that permit forbidden acts. Borrowing with interest is a major sin. To seek permissible funding sources, one can request a benevolent loan (qard hasan), or enter into a partnership with a Muslim merchant, or collect donations from philanthropists. The predecessors of the Ummah have unanimously agreed on the prohibition of borrowing with usurious interest, even if the purpose is noble, because "noble ends do not justify forbidden means."
