What is the ruling on my action and intention regarding going to the restroom before prayer due to obsessive thoughts (waswas), and my attempt to pray with three ablutions out of fear of discharge?
One must beware of intrusive thoughts (waswasah) and turn away from them. It is not necessary to go to the toilet for every ablution; rather, only when needed. One should not prolong their stay there. Yellow discharge (ṣufrah) is impure. If it is not menstrual blood, then ritual cleansing (istinja') from it is obligatory for prayer. It is not necessary to investigate when in doubt about its exit. If there is doubt about the time of its exit, it should be attributed to the nearest probable time. If there is doubt whether it is yellow discharge or vaginal secretions, it should be considered vaginal secretions.
