If the husband is poor and his salary is not sufficient for him, or he is in debt and unable to repay, it is permissible for the wife to give her zakat to him. She will receive two rewards: the reward for charity and the reward for kinship, even if the husband spends the money on his wife and children. The wife's expenditure on her husband is an act of voluntary donation and favor, and it does not prevent giving zakat to him.
