A son should not speak harshly to his father, for Allah has commanded kindness and gentleness towards parents, and has forbidden saying "uff" to them or scolding them. Dreams do not form the basis for legal rulings, and what transpired between you and your father may have caused his displeasure, not necessarily his anger. Continue to supplicate for your father, and dedicate the reward of Quran recitation and seeking forgiveness to him, and know that honoring one's parents does not cease with their death. And know that a dream of anger may be from Satan or a self-whispering, so continue to supplicate and seek forgiveness, and have good thoughts of Allah. And honor your mother if she is alive, for honoring the mother is among the best deeds that draw one closer to Allah.
