Is it permissible for a husband to make his wife swear on the Quran because of a word she said that was neither serious nor harmful?

Swearing by the Qur’an is a binding oath (yamin mun'aqidah), whether in the form of "By the Qur'an, I will do such-and-such," or "I will not do such-and-such," or by placing one's hand on the Qur'an while swearing by Allah. Breaking this oath (al-hant) is like breaking any other oath. If one swears a false oath, it is a false and perjurious oath (al-yamin al-ghamūs). A husband may ask his wife to swear by the Qur'an for a matter of benefit or significance, but it is not permissible to do so in jest, as a means of safeguarding Allah's name and attributes.
