Is it permissible for a woman whose husband has passed away to leave her home during the waiting period (iddah) for medical treatment outside her country if her condition necessitates urgent catheterization?

A woman observing 'iddah (waiting period) must remain in her marital home until her 'iddah ends (four months and ten days for a non-pregnant woman, and until childbirth for a pregnant woman). She is permitted to leave for necessities such as earning a living or seeking medical treatment if she cannot find anyone to provide for her, based on the Almighty's saying: "But if one is forced by necessity, neither desiring it nor transgressing its limit, then there is no sin upon him." If the surgery can be performed in a nearby hospital from which she can quickly return, she should not travel to a distant place that requires a long stay. However, if that is not possible, there is no sin upon her in traveling to alleviate hardship.
