Is it permissible to call cancer "the malignant disease," and is its ruling like that of reviling the wind?

There is no religious prohibition against this naming, unless its owner is displeased with fate. However, it is advisable to abandon it, because illnesses cleanse sins, and a Muslim should be patient with them, ask God for well-being, and seek lawful treatment such as supplication, medicine, ruqyah, and charity.
