What is incumbent upon one who committed the sin of zina on the twenty-seventh night of Ramadan, feeling that it was Laylat al-Qadr, and experiencing intense remorse, especially as he broke his fast due to the impurity of that night, and wishes to distance himself from the friend who was with him but faces difficulty in doing so due to his relationship with the friend's family?

Sincere repentance is obligatory for this enormous abomination, and one must exert permissible efforts to distance oneself from this vice, such as marriage if possible, or increasing fasting, sitting with scholars, and regularly performing adhkar and prayers in the mosque. It is also obligatory to avoid meeting this friend for fear of falling into immorality again, and it is forbidden for your family to enable you to meet him if they know of the possibility of you falling into vice with him.
