Is it permissible for a prisoner to give a sample of his blood to the state for analysis and to be recorded as part of the data on the blood types of previous criminals?

There is no correlation between blood type and human behavior, as perpetrators of crimes do not share a single blood type. The prisoner is advised to repent to Allah, restore rights to their rightful owners, and seize the opportunity of his life and health to repent, for Allah accepts the repentance of His servant. There is no Sharia impediment to providing a blood sample to the state, provided it is not misused. The prison administration should be alerted that the cause of criminality is not blood type but rather the corruption of the heart and mind, and that the remedy lies in investigating the motives of criminality and addressing them through Islam.
