What is permitted for the suitor is to look at the face and hands of the fiancée without seclusion, and it is permissible to repeat the gaze until her appearance becomes clear. However, after that, it is forbidden to look at her until the legal marriage contract is concluded. If you wish to marry her, correspond with her father to propose to her. If he refuses and prevents her, she has the right to present her case to a Sharia judge to summon her father. If the closest guardian refuses to marry her off, guardianship transfers to the ruler or the more distant guardian, according to the different schools of thought.
