What are the sins that could cause the deprivation of apparent blessings from a person, such as beauty of appearance?
"We do not know of a sin whose punishment is the loss of beauty. Baldness is a natural phenomenon that does not diminish the worth of its owner. Hair transplantation is Islamically permissible and is not considered among the prohibited forms of artificial hair extension (wasl) or altering God's creation. Rather, it is a restoration of what God created and falls under the category of permissible treatment, analogous to the story of Arfajah ibn Sa'd, who fashioned a nose of gold after his was severed. You should also supplicate to God, refrain from sins, and increase your charitable giving, as Al-Bayhaqi mentioned stories of incurable diseases being cured through charity, supplication, and providing water to the needy."
