What is the ruling on a wife going to Saudi Arabia for Umrah after her husband swore an oath of divorce that she would not go there, and what is the expiation for this oath?

The ruling for an oath of divorce is the same as for a conditional divorce: it has occurred, and there is no way to resolve or revoke it. However, the intention and purpose of the one who pronounced the divorce are considered:

- If he intended that the wife should never go to Saudi Arabia, then the divorce occurs if she goes at any time. - If he intended that she should not go during a specific period, the oath is restricted to that period, and no divorce occurs after its expiration. - If he intended that she should not go to her family only, then there is no harm in her going for Umrah, provided she does not visit her family. - If there was no intention, the reason for the oath is considered. If it was due to a dispute with in-laws, then if matters are reconciled and the disputes are resolved, the oath is dissolved, and the wife is not affected by the divorce.
