To what extent is the story of the cross-eyed woman during the time of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, authentic, and what is its reality?

The story narrated by Ibn al-Athir about Hawla al-Attara, who came to complain about her husband to Aisha and then to the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, is not authentic. This is because it is narrated by Ziyad ibn Maymun al-Thaqafi, who is abandoned (his narrations are rejected) and accused of lying. He also never met Anas ibn Malik, from whom he narrates. Ibn al-Jawzi considered it among the fabricated and forged hadiths.
