What is Islam's view on a wife who accuses her husband of betrayal every time he goes out or receives a call, and insists on leaving the house daily, which leads the husband to consider divorce?

The nature of a woman is to be jealous over her husband, and there is no harm in this so long as it remains within reasonable bounds. However, if jealousy exceeds reasonable limits, it transforms marital life into hell. The wife must, therefore, fear Allah concerning her husband and let matters remain natural and calm; otherwise, Allah will punish her for harming her husband without valid reason. She must also not leave her home without her husband's permission, and her departure must be governed by Sharia regulations concerning both its purpose and her attire.
