The jurists agree that the mother has the primary right to custody of her child, as long as she does not remarry. Therefore, the custodian is not permitted to request a divorce for this reason, unless the child is in urgent need of her custody.
As for requesting a divorce due to the husband's interference regarding the : if the intention is to uncover anything beyond the face and hands, this is unanimously impermissible. It is not permissible for the husband to order his wife to uncover her face in front of non- men. If the husband insists on this prohibited matter, the wife has the right to request a divorce.
