Is not correcting the recitation of the Qur’an for some students who err in it, while knowing the correct way and knowing that the students did not err intentionally, considered disbelief (kufr)?

We fear the questioner may be afflicted with waswas (obsessive whispering), and therefore, they should disregard it. Not correcting a mistake in recitation does not constitute disbelief (kufr). If the mistake alters the meaning, then it must be corrected; otherwise, it is not obligatory, as stated by Sheikh Al-Uthaymeen. The questioner should not give in to thoughts of kufr and should correct the children's mistakes. The school administration should pay attention to the Quran class and provide a specialized teacher.
