Is it permissible to recite the Qur’an with errors (in the word or in the diacritics) for the purpose of teaching?

It is not permissible to intentionally make mistakes in the Holy Quran, even for the purpose of teaching, because it involves distorting the words of Allah and the possibility of entrenching the error in the mind of the recipient. The Quran is the miraculous word of Allah, and its الفاظ (words/phrases) are divinely ordained, transmitted by continuous, widespread narration (Tawatur). It was not known for the early Muslims (Salaf) to intentionally make mistakes in reciting the Quran to draw attention. A teacher can use other legitimate methods to reinforce memorization, such as asking questions, conducting tests, and frequent recitation and review.
