Is a Muslim woman sinful for cutting ties with her father who curses her and threatens her with death, especially after he expelled her from the home and she moved to live in another country?

It is incumbent upon the caller to Allah (Da'i) to be gentle and kind in his call, especially with his family, accompanying them with good conduct, even if they are disbelievers. For Allah has commanded kindness to parents, and even if they enjoin polytheism, they are not to be obeyed in that. As for one who does not respond, his guidance is upon himself. The emigration of a Muslim from an environment hostile to his religion is a sound matter, and it is not permissible to cut ties with parents, even if they treat one badly, while resorting to Allah and not caring about their threats, and enduring their harm and insults.
