Is a wife's removing her hijab in a foreign resort because veiled women are not allowed to enter considered a great sin that necessitates God's wrath, and does it require expiation?

The hijab is obligatory for a Muslim woman, and it is not permissible to neglect it for a worldly purpose. This is a grave sin that incurs the wrath of Allah. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, you will not abandon anything for the sake of Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, but that Allah will give you something better than it." Therefore, one must repent to Allah Almighty, as it is the expiation for this sin, and increase in the remembrance of Allah. It should also be noted that traveling for leisure is permissible with its Sharia-compliant regulations, and one is warned against being lenient in traveling to countries where temptations and evils are abundant.
