What the wife did — disobeying her husband, refusing to travel with him, leaving his house without his permission, and refusing to return after his return — all of that is impermissible. She must fear Allah and beware of nushuz (disobedience/rebellion). The questioner is advised to be patient with her and counsel her. If that does not work, he may marry another woman and divorce her, or keep her until she requests khul' (dissolution of marriage initiated by the wife).
