Is it permissible to continue working for a charity at a center for the care of the disabled, which includes non-Muslim employees who are greeted on their holidays, and which holds mixed parties with singing, and some female employees are not modestly dressed, with joking between young men and women, and the center requested the exchange of gifts on the occasion of Christmas and the New Year, and there is no feeling of Islam in the workplace or a place for prayer, while it is difficult to leave the job currently?

Mixed-gender work has evils and negative effects, but the salary from mixed-gender work is permissible if the work itself is permissible. Mixed-gender work must be avoided if the reality is as described, with the mixing occurring in the manner mentioned. However, if one moves to a place where there is no mixing with women, that is the proper course of action, provided the work itself is permissible. It is not permissible to celebrate a personal birthday or the New Year, just as it is not permissible to congratulate disbelievers on their holidays. Whoever abandons something for the sake of Allah, Allah will compensate him with something better. Therefore, one must safeguard the soundness of their religion and not fear the loss of provision, for Allah's bounties are only attained through obedience to Him.
