Is it permissible to listen to songs without contemplating their lyrics or watching the music video?

Singing is of two types: permissible and forbidden. If the songs are permissible, there is no harm in listening to them, provided that this does not lead to wasting time, neglecting duties, or falling into something forbidden; because a means to the forbidden is itself forbidden.
