Is that which is forbidden in this world also forbidden in Paradise, and if so, what is it?

This world is the abode of obligation, where forbidden things are prohibited. As for Paradise, it is the abode of recompense, with no obligations. Prohibitions in this world, such as murder, theft, and lying, are not committed by the people of Paradise due to the purity of their hearts. Their hearts are like the heart of one man; there is no mutual hatred or envy among them. Prohibitions exist because of corruption in this world, like intoxicants (alcohol) which cloud the mind; these will not be a cause of corruption in the Afterlife, but rather a source of pleasure. Similarly, gold and silver vessels were forbidden in this world due to ostentation and extravagance, but this is not the case for the people of Paradise. The people of Paradise do not commit imperfections such as urination and defecation; their food will become burps and sweat like musk, and they will be inspired to glorify and praise God.
