First: There is no escaping the shortcomings compared to the Salaf, and one must exert their utmost effort in striving for knowledge and action, and follow the path of the Salaf.

Second: Moderation, moderation, and you will reach your goal. So, be precise and approximate, and do what you are capable of. For religion is ease, and the most beloved deeds to Allah are those that are continuous, even if small. Gradualism is the correct path.

Third: Seeking knowledge requires gradualism and stages. So, start with concise texts and their easy explanations, while organizing your time.

Fourth: Strive in supplication, turning to Allah, repentance, and seeking forgiveness, for all good is in Allah’s hand.

Fifth: Avoiding excess in food, sleep, and socializing is commendable, but do not harm yourself or burden it with what it cannot bear.

Sixth: Reading the biographies of the Salaf inspires determination and resolve, not regret.

Seventh: Be keen on high aspiration, for Allah loves the noblest and highest of matters.
