Did the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, forbid eating hot food?

The command to cool food and drink, and the prohibition against eating hot food, has been reported in many ways, some through authentic hadiths and others through weak ones that are strengthened by the authentic ones. Among these are what was narrated from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "Cool the food, for there is no blessing in hot food," and "The best drink is sweet and cool." He also forbade eating food until it was possible, meaning until it could be eaten. The meaning of "Cool the food" is to delay eating it until it cools. It is disliked to consume hot food due to its lack of blessing and its contravention of the Sunnah, and it becomes forbidden if its harm is highly probable.
