What is the ruling on watching the show "Star Academy" and participating in it by voting?

The Permanent Committee for Scholarly Research and Ifta issued a statement prohibiting the broadcasting, watching, funding, participating in, or voting for "reality television" programs such as "Star Academy." This is because they involve the condoning and open declaration of forbidden acts, such as the mixing of genders, explicit incitement to indecency, and the killing of modesty and jealousy.
