What is the reason for the continuous quarrels between spouses and their reaching the point of considering divorce, despite the existence of love between them?

The alienation and hatred between spouses may be due to sins, as stated in Allah's (SWT) saying: "And whatever strikes you of disaster - it is because of what your hands have earned, and He pardons much."

The wife must repent, increase her acts of obedience, and draw closer to Allah through supererogatory acts of worship, such as prayer and fasting. This is a reason for Allah's love for His servant, and whoever Allah loves, He grants acceptance for them on Earth.
