Does the Prophet's saying, peace and blessings be upon him: "Whoever points to good, he will have a reward like the doer of it," include the special properties and virtues of adhkar (remembrance of Allah), such as protection from Satan, or is it limited to the reward resulting from the dhikr, such as good deeds and the expiation of sins?

It is established that one who points to good receives a reward equal to that of the doer of the good deed, based on the Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) saying: "Whoever points to good will have a reward like that of its doer." This equivalence applies only to good deeds (hasanat) and does not extend to all the effects and characteristics of the action. This is because the Sharia principle dictates that the consequences of an action are borne only by the direct perpetrator, not by the one who caused it or pointed to it. For instance, if someone points out money to be stolen, the punishment for theft falls on the thief, not on the one who pointed it out. Similarly, in acts of faith, no living person can substitute for another; no one prays or fasts on behalf of another. Rather, the specific characteristics of dhikr (remembrance of God) and similar acts are attained only by the one who performs them.
