Is filling out a cremation form and receiving money for it permissible or impermissible (halal or haram)?

It is not permissible to cremate the deceased's body, for it possesses sanctity, just as a living person does. "Breaking the bone of a deceased person is like breaking it when they are alive." It is also not permissible to fill out cremation forms and accept money for it, as this entails approving and assisting in a reprehensible act. Allah Almighty has said: "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is severe in penalty."
