Are certain remembrances – such as "In the name of Allah, with Whose Name nothing whatsoever on earth or in the heaven can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing" three times, and the two surahs of seeking refuge (Al-Falaq and An-Nas) and Surat Al-Ikhlas three times, and Ayat Al-Kursi, and the last two verses of Surat Al-Baqarah – sufficient for protection from the evil eye, sorcery, and jinn possession, out of a desire for a short remembrance?

We hope that whoever regularly recites these remembrances will be protected from evil, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Recite 'Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad' (Say: He is Allah, [the] One) and the two 'Mu'awwidhatayn' (Surah Al-Falaq and Surah An-Nas) three times in the evening and in the morning; they will suffice you against everything." And for his saying: "No servant says every morning and every night: 'Bismillahil-ladhi la yadurru ma'a ismihi shay'un fil-ardi wa la fis-sama'i wa Huwas-Sami'ul-'Alim' (In the Name of Allah, with Whose Name nothing on earth or in the heaven can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing), three times, except that nothing will harm him."
