Does not performing the Witr prayer affect the acceptance of one's supplication?

Among the reasons for the acceptance of supplication is drawing closer to Allah through obligatory acts and supererogatory acts, based on the saying of Allah Almighty in the Hadith Qudsi: "My servant continues to draw near to Me with supererogatory deeds until I love him. When I love him, I am his hearing with which he hears, his sight with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes, and his foot with which he walks. If he asks Me, I will surely give him; and if he seeks refuge in Me, I will surely grant him refuge." The Witr prayer is among the most emphasized supererogatory acts and the most beloved to Allah. Abandoning it may affect the acceptance of supplication, but it does not necessarily prevent acceptance entirely. A Muslim should not abandon emphasized supererogatory acts like the Witr prayer and others, because performing them is more conducive to gaining Allah's love.
