Is what is said true, that a black cat contains a devil or a jinn, and does seeing one necessitate seeking refuge from Satan?

Devils often appear in the form of black cats. Therefore, it is recommended to seek refuge in Allah from Satan upon seeing them, because seeking refuge is required when devils are present, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "When you hear the braying of a donkey, seek refuge in Allah from Satan, for it has seen a devil."
