Is it permissible to say to a black cat in our path, "I seek refuge in Allah from you if you are a jinn," three times?

Cats are not impure, and they are among "those who frequent us, male and female," as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, informed us. Jinn have the ability to take on different forms, including black cats, but it cannot be definitively stated that every black cat is from the jinn or devils. It is not prescribed to seek refuge from cats or black animals in general, as this was not the practice of the predecessors, and it opens the door to obsessive doubts and pessimism. There is no religious text that describes black cats as devils; rather, that applies to the black dog, meaning it is the most evil kind of dogs.
