What is the ruling on medically determining the gender of a fetus, meaning changing it through medical intervention?

If the artificial insemination is performed using the spouses' own gametes and within the wife's uterus, without exposing any awrah (intimate parts), then there is no harm in it. This is because it does not deviate from what Allah has decreed. It is, however, better for a Muslim to surrender to Allah's divine decree and destiny.
