Has the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, been mentioned in the Gospel explicitly or symbolically, and what are the references that prove this, and has distortion occurred on the part of Christian writers and translators?

The Quran refers to the mention of the Prophet Muhammad - may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him - in the Torah and the Gospel, confirming His (Allah’s) saying: {And [mention] when Jesus, son of Mary, said, "O Children of Israel, indeed I am the messenger of Allah to you confirming what came before me of the Torah and bringing good tidings of a messenger to come after me, whose name is Ahmad." But when he came to them with clear evidences, they said, "This is obvious magic"} [As-Saff: 6], and His saying: {Those who follow the Messenger, the unlettered prophet, whom they find written in the Torah and the Gospel with them}. Despite the distortion of these books, there are still clear tidings of his coming within them, such as what is stated in the Book of Deuteronomy about raising up a prophet from the brethren of the Children of Israel, and in the Gospel of John about "the Paraclete," and Ibn Al-Qayyim's statement about "Faran" (Mecca) as the center for the appearance of his light, and what is mentioned in the Gospel of Barnabas and the Book of Isaiah regarding his name and attributes.
